Hurricane in 3.1 - Get on the Boat! Best airships in the skies!

Hurricane is an NA-based large by FF14 standards Free Company, founded by a small community of friends who with a rich history predating FFXIV. We use Discord as our voice chat, and are most active 5-11 PM PST. We are seeking to build an even bigger video game army in light of 3.1's exciting news. Our goal is regular, casual-friendly (attend when you want), full FC 24 man alliance raids. Why? Read on!

3.1 is coming November 10th, and with it comes FFXIV's first large Free Company friendly, progression relevant content: Exploratory Missions. Ride our airships into a huge new zone and fight superbosses with us to claim loot rewards up to ilvl 210!

Why are Free Company airships necessary, when you can rent an airship at Ishgard?
The answer is hard mode! Only Free Company airships can access hard mode exploratory missions, which have bigger monsters - stronger than any S-Rank Hunt - better and more loot, and the FC-exclusive ability to field 24 man pre-made Alliances.

At long last, content for Free Companies to do together? Content that actually matters? ZERG IT DOWN!

What can Hurricane offer you and your friends?

• x4 level 50 Airships anyone of any rank can take out for adventure, any time! Ours were the first (as reported by dusk leather sales), and they're the best, too!
• A welcoming, capable group that wants to include you on our adventures, and finally can
• A modestly successful A3S (currently) static group eager to use their coordination and gear to help you kill those hard mode superbosses
• Premade, everybody syncs at once Void Ark psuedo-alliances. Do we all get into the same instance? Sometimes. Is this experience better than pugging it? 100% yes.
• An active member base at many level ranges. That's right! We still have people below 60 for you to adventure with, and our members are available to assist you with any encounters you fail to clear with duty finder. We want to get you to 60 so you can join us on our airship missions!
• Relics in 3.15! Probably in December. Draw from a pool of active, well geared players who will all have relic fever, too. Let's get our relics together, and avoid the mess that is duty finder raiding.
• Movie nights! Most Fridays, we all get together, get entirely drunk, and watch something amusing. Ghostbusters, Labyrinth, Time Bandits, Army of Darkness, and countless others, to give you a feel for our taste in movies. Feel free to suggest a movie!

Are you in a small FC, perhaps one that was locked out of housing by SE's catastrophic failure to accomodate you, and you're locked out of hard mode 24 man exploratory missions as a result? Join us! Not just you, ask your friends to come! We understand and respect your situation, and that you're proud of what you've accomplished together. Leave an alt in charge of your FC and join us for a bit, so you don't miss any of this great new content. We will treat your group of friends like they are our group of friends. When housing is available again, if you want to strike off and start your own airship fleet, you and your friends will have our blessings and support.

Hi, how active is usually your FC? I'll be honest I'm looking now for a FC but every time that I join one either there is only like 3 or 4 people playing or after some time the FC company dies. Currently my FC is dead and I'm the only one playing, I want to know new people and I log in every single day, I can tank, heal and DPS all jobs are properly geared, I willing to help on any kind of content I just dont want to join another free company that dies in a month, sorry if it sounded bad but I really had bad experiences with FC's, thank you for your time.

We are mildly active. There are usually 10 or more players on during most evenings - there are a lot of us with nothing to do, so that number will increase substantially when 3.1 hits and the people who I couldn't cram into the static 8 man return to try the new content.

Edit: To answer your question more completely, roughly 27 of us what I'd call active, in spite of the content drought, which is responsible for all the dead FCs you're seeing.

This FC predates FFXIV, its core is entirely stable. I promote and recruit aggressively - you will not want for friends and fun when 3.1 hits on the 10th.

My issues with Free Companies actually are from way back of 3.0 but anyway I'll try to contact you or any of your officials today to get more information if sounds good to you since I'm really interested right now on the exploratory missions. Hi there! Absolutely you can try to /tell one of the members if one of us is online. Another way is to search for one of our members (through Player Search), and right-click the name of a person in the company "HUR", select "View Company Profile" and then apply to join. At least...I think that's how you do it! :X
