Bad/casual players with worse attitudes than the good "elitist" players

Basically this. In XI if someone sucked, they were kicked from the party or the party just died and failed. You wouldn't believe how many shitty people get carried in this game.

the sad part is some of them never know it because of jerks that would rather impatiently say "you suck" than say hey you know you may not be doing your job efficiently perhaps you should look up a guide or ask some friends for help. or even be nice and give pointers themselves if they know the job...
you know if you help someone get better at their job(if they are willing to listen) things tend to go smoother. cause you know people don't like being told they suck and tend to push against that. but being told "hey I think you could be better at this" is something else and sounds much friendlier.
yes I know many will never listen. those are the elitist scum of this game. they think they are all that and will not learn otherwise

And even then they will still take offense and get a crap attitude with you, if they do not outright ignore you altogether. I usually don't even bother trying to help any more unless the person in question asks first, as a negative response is all too common even when I'm being polite, and I just don't want to deal with that. People can't take even tiny amounts of criticism, even when it is legit and presented in a non-antagonistic manner...it's like they see the devil hiding around every corner and lash out at the first sign of a shadow. It's a sad state of existence to take offense to everything that might suggest one is not perfect.

Too much coddling goes on and that is not conducive to becoming a better player. The attitudes I have had to deal with make me very weary of ever trying to help anyone I don't already know.

This is a team game, and anyone who doesn't care to put in a team effort should find some single player game to play instead of hiding behind the lame excuse of "it's my sub money so I'll play how I want!"
