Is a PLD with STR gear weaker than a WAR or DRK in vit gear?

If the pld is pushing SwO and the war/drk isn't, then easily in single target situations. A pld OT can push good damage and their rotation is still much simpler than War or Drk. The main issues are their tank stance/"MT" damage, their AoE damage, and their lower aggro which forces them into extremely unoptimal rotations and having to overuse their already bad tank stance when MTing.

I hear so may ignorant complaints about making SwO stronger it just makes me shake my head and laugh. No wonder SE is so slow to make changes. The community is grossly exaggerating the actual issues and demanding things like Fell Cleave level commands as default combo finishers when in swo. Swo may not be as flashy as darkside or as intricate as juggling deliverance stance and additional commands, but it's quite effective for single target damage.

I think the changes pld is getting are a step in the right direction. I also don't think they'll be the last. But I have friends that won't even touch pld because the rumormongers make the class sound so totally busted, no matter what I tell them. Sometimes we as a community are our own worst enemy.
