    No thanks, SE. Bad move....

This is a terrible idea. Especially considering we're getting only 2 new dungeons, and Void Ark. However, I do understand we can earn Esos from Diadem, but for those of us who have been grinding and grinding Fractal and Neverreap, this is uncalled for. Getting 40 Esos was bad enough, but to lessen the amount of Esos received just seems like a slap in the face to me. Where is my motivation to run Void Ark after I've received my weekly drop? What if I'm unable to pariticpate in Diadem very often. I will have to run dungeons for Esos. Fractal and Neverreap rewarding less Esos is uncalled for.

I highly doubt that this thread will bring about any change, but I feel that I have to vent my upsetness about this bs and what better place to do so than here?

Anyone else upset by this change? Maybe I'm overreacting, but having to run Fractal and Neverreap even more, when we've burned ourselves out on Aroboretum and PS (Hard), after we've already had to run Fractal and Neverreap for the past 5 months just seems like cruel and unusual punishment, if you ask me.

Bad move, SE. I'm usually very tolerant of any bs you pull, but if there's any chance we can get the Eso reward for Fractal and Neverreap bumped back up to the measly 40 it was before, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Image link fail.

You also realize those two dungeons are no longer the 'Expert' dungeons, right? I bet the two new ones will give at least as many Esoterics as we're used to.

Reap and facility are getting put in their own roulette and exp roulette will be the new dungeons.

Yeah, they are decreasing the eso from the current dungeons but now we'll have two daily dungeon roulettes that are giving esoterics.

Not to mention we don't know how much eso the new dungeons will give.

Not as bad as you think, don't complain just yet.

    Pretty much this.

The 2 new Dungeons ("Saint Mocianne's Arboretum" and "Pharos Sirius (Hard)") will replace the current Expert Roulette, which will grant 40 Eso's per dungeon and an additional 35 for each "First completion of the day"-bonus. So, that doesn't really change. "Neverreap" and "The Fractal Continuum" will be moved to a "Duty Roulette: Level 60 Dungeons". This new Roulette will get it's own "First completion of the day"-bonus, which will most likely grant more Eso's then the Trial Roulette, but less then the Expert Roulette.

Let's say the "Duty Roulette: Level 60 Dungeons" will grant 20 additional Eso's "First completion of the day"-bonus. This would mean that you can get 75 Eso's for the Expert Roulette, 50 for the "Duty Roulette: Level 60 Dungeons", 10 for the "Trial Roulette" and then some from Void Ark as well as the Airship Exploration (which you can do once every 2 hours). That is actually not such a bad deal.

If you would only do Void Ark once in a week, because you got your drop with the first run. You can still get around 150 to 175 (rough estimation) with 2 dungeons, 1 trial and 1 24-man Raid, in just 1 day.

Not everyone has time to run a roulette five days a week, but may have lots of free time on Saturday and Sunday.

    >_> More like people can't manage their time well enough to fit in 20-30 mins of expert a day. It really doesn't take long, even with a dps queue (about 5-7 min max and then a 20 min run)

Can't, or don't want to? That's really the big question. If people don't WANT to play FF14 on weekdays because they're too tired after work, who are you to say they HAVE to?

Don't forget the amount to time it takes to start your system up if it's off, log in times, loading into the game, loading into the instance, etc. It doesn't take only 20-30 minutes a day. For some people, even 20-30 is a lot depending on the day.
