She wasn't available for most of the 3.0 story until you cleared the main story. It's likely she is just being moved out for story purposes. She may simply show up again later, if she doesn't it likely because they don't want to keep shifting her location for TT.

Actually, in 1.0, playing the game we got from Hildibrand equaled real diplomacy and was the only way to save the world from Ifrit *o*
Well, okay, not the only one..xD But it was an option! So don't judge Tataru for wanting to save the world by playing a card game xD
She's just stuck in 1.0 nostalgia...

After trying out Arcanist, Tataru tried her hand at Astrologian. Just as before, it didn't go well. Out of embarrassment, she decided to give up Triple Triad as well to avoid seeing cards ever again.

I think she is just being moved to a different location where triple triad will not be possible for her during the time. I am happy though we get new packs in trade for her though.
