Please actually read the first post, understand the topic, and for the love of effing god, stop trying to turn this discussion into "big pulls are always objectively right or you're just bad." That's not even the issue being discussed.

The problem is people besides the tank trying to set the pace without communicating. People who communicate can sort things out and come to terms, and you may be surprised that a mutually agreed-upon pace does, in fact, lead to a smoother and faster run than just assuming bigger is always better.
