A cross server anything would be more than welcome for myself. Would alleviate the issue I have with friends being elsewhere and not being able to leave my server because of Gil limitations.

However, seeing a third "raiding" tier being introduced for Alexander is laughable. Groups/people still wipe in 190+ in DF on normal and they want to make a middle tier? May as well lock that to preformed parties only, lol.

People have been asking for midcore content from the day 1.
Also I have encountered people who don't have enough skill/experience/time whatever for savage, but normal is just plain boring for them.
I think that having midcore content is important even though I myself prefer hardcore content.

EDIT: There will be always people who will fail even the easiest fight (the interview stated that only 50% of active playerbase cleared Alexander Normal) but that doesn't mean average players don't deserve their own content. Go team yoshi!

200 players complaining daily on the forums is not "people" in my opinion. This wasn't polled, I didn't get to vote, neither did the other tens of thousands. So I'm going to disagree here.

I would most certainly fit into that category of wanting harder content but not hard enough for a static. My point still stands though. People fail even the easy content. I don't have time, nor want to have to dedicate time to a static to do anything past faceroll, and without keeping certain players out, I don't see any other option unless it's made faceroll easy. So my apology for not typing it out correctly at first.

Not everything has to be doable trough DF (which is still the case for some encounters) and the fact that there are unskilled players isn't kinda a reason not to implement medium difficulty content. That would be plain discrimination.

I'm sad that there are no Void Ark FATEs.
The only problem about the CT FATEs was the repop timer and it got fixed after some weeks.

I'm glad there's no stupid thing tied to FATEs anymore. I got sick of it with my relic.

Don't confuse this, this isn't because of my fears, but my fear for other players. People are asses. Parsing has now runs amok, and the epeen flies. People don't want to help, they want the lower tier locked out to retain some semblance of their special snowflake status while rubbing it in their faces. Locking more players out of content isn't progressive, even if I wanted harder content. I get sick and tired of running PF and DF to see someone kicked for a ridiculous mistake all for the sake of git gud scrub.

Why all? If Easy mode was to stay, people would still be able to attend it.
I still see no reason why others should be denied acces to harder content only to defend people who aren't capable of doing it, no one is forcing anyone to do content they don't want to do/ dont feel like doing it or don't have the skills to do it. If they try, fail and get kicked, well so be it, that is the part of playing multiplayer game too. Every player has his own pace and goals and forcing them on others to slow them down isn't going to work.

Earlier MMOs weren't made with intention for everyone to have everything and I don't think this should become a trend. Because then we will end up with MMOs that autopilot you to quest NPCs or clicker games that are only about mashing one button which results in damaging and killing the monster (yeah, they are popular, but not every game has to be like that).

People don't want XIV to get better. Look at all the threads on the first two pages. They want XI and WoW.

Good on paper, and will probably not ever be executed. If it is, everyone will fly off the handle and complain, again. I'm out as well before I'm incessantly pummeled out of conversation by a diehard Savage/HC fan that I need to just gitgud, lol.
