Sounds like you were a party full of jerks. You guys deserved each other.

Here's what you should've done OP. Let him get aggro, turn off tank stance and dps. Why were you so adamant on being MT? I think your in the wrong here my friend.
Uh if you read the post at all I was pretty polite until the entire party started calling me a scrub and telling me to get good because they had no clue what was going on or the reason we wiped other than the other tank being the loudest douche bag to begin with, trolling me and making me look like a bad guy.
You must have a distortion field like the OP that prevents you from seeing when your own attitude is unpleasant and unacceptable.
I applaud people for using vote kick when harassment occurs. It's ok to make mistakes (wipe) but not ok to blame and harass a player ("call them out").
If you notice a mistake, it's fine to instruct / advise others WITHOUT giving them attitude. It helps nobody if you react to mistakes by shaming somebody like "hey [playername], good job for killing us, noob tank".
So I should just drop my stance mid fight, waste a ton of MP. Run over to the other side of the arena to cover orbs while all of my defensive cooldowns are down, eat shit and hit the floor? Because the other guy was "so adamant about trolling and stealing threat".
Dude. Nobody made a "mistake". The guy was straight out trolling and thats all there is to it.You must have a distortion field like the OP that prevents you from seeing when your own attitude is unpleasant and unacceptable.

A guy in full 210 gear doesnt "accidentally pull or provoke".
We wiped the first time because he ran in while I was marking and everyone else wasn't ready. We wiped the other 3 times because he kept provoking off of me and nobody was eating orbs.
Did you even read the original post? Like I'm sitting here just like WTF... I don't understand where you get this idea of somebody was making a mistake and I called them out like "HAY SCRUB NOOB TANK GET GUD YOU WIPED US".

. Also just because the other tank pulled doesn't mean that's what caused the wipe. I tanked every piece of content in this game and almost never have issues. Your "universe revolves around me" attitude is the problem.
Oh yeah... so if the other tank pulls the very second we enter the arena. While the party is preparing and we wipe. Its not his fault. Riiiiiiight.
If all of my Defensive CDs are down from main tanking the boss and the guy who doesn't have threat, provokes off of me... and I go to eat orbs and eat shit because I have no cooldowns up... and we wipe. Its not the other guys fault. Riiiiight.
In this game tank's job is to carry the bads and do it in silence and without remarks. If you can't do that then tanking isn't going to be good for your well being. Of course there is also the option to stop doing pug groups, which removes the most annoying part about tanking - the impatient players who can't follow instructions.
Alright well.
I guess the next time I enter a party I'm not going to do a ready check. I'm not going to discuss who MT is. I'm not going to place any markers.
and I'm just gonna run in there the second that shield drops.
Because thats what you people are telling me to do by saying that I was in the wrong and this guy was in the right.
Then when somebody gives me shit for rushing in like an idiot... I'm gonna tell them to get good scrub and initiate a vote kick.
Then.. Then I'm gonna provoke everything off of the other tank just for the hell of it to piss him off.
