You mean this style below? It's not quite the same model, if you compare it to the above. The male style curls outwards and has bits hanging in front of the eyes, whereas the new female style curls inwards and doesn't cover the face. The highlight placement and hairline are also different.

Yes that one, and I'm not talking about the one you linked as looking good on femroe. There's two long ones going in.

I believe it was confirmed by a Mod that only the Afro is unisex.
