A new idea for Gold Saucer! (I think): Battle Square!

It's fun from a gameplay perspective, difficult to explain from a lore perspective why these heroes are here, but I think if we don't go too wild with fan service and make this a XIV style battle arena it could be good. Borrowing the original, a gauntlet of fun battles with a roulette of random ailments inflicted on the player to increase the challenge.

Honestly, the lore aspect wouldn't be too hard. Tales of Symphonia did exactly the same thing by throwing in characters of previous Tales game as a secret opponent in their battle arena, and it didn't conflict with anyone's stories.
