Getting rid of surnames

I agree for more options but I don't agree with this one. No point in having both options at this point. They could make it where you have the option of turning surnames off visibly but there is no point to not have a surname other than just not wanting one for some reason. If that is the case make it as short as possible. It is only the people who have long spelled hard to remember names that bother me when you try to think out how to spell out their names and it makes it harder since there is now /sea all system atm. Most people rarely have problems remembering my name or how to spell it and I am sure that is the case with Konata Chibi and others, easy stuff.

Go to the male mithra/female galka thread, started almost a year ago. seriously. some people say a surname post is necro'd when mostly the same arguments appeared in that thread about 10months ago. Don't try and act like you are original. This is under a different guise for a different reason - and if you don't want to read this thread for incalculable reasons then that is your own choice. - just don't come in here acting like you have a point when not even reading - cus you dont - and/or it is 10months old and belongs in that other thread. Take it there.

Are you daft? Or were you just dropped on your head when you was born? I am replying exactly to what I read and the argument between having a surname and not having a surname. Maybe you should go eat another bottle of vitamins so you can get extra smart!!

Ever heard of white people problems, you don't have to be white, you just have to live in the Western world where you have an abundance of resources, and then complain about stupid crap like "my 300 dollar cell phone is so useless and a complete utter piece of crap", or "omg I'm so full I could die", or on the other hand "I'm so starving" (you know who ever says that should be slapped) This complaint I think falls under white people problems, some people call them champagne problems but that is a lame name imo. Even cheap people who buy 5 dollar champagne can participate in white people problems. Champagne is like "if you make over $600,000 a year you can complain about your caviar from time to time"

I think you guys are over complicating things. The server can deal with singular names, the community can't.

Even with both options apparently people have an issue - and thats mostly when the truth comes out too.

Lobby for the option of a singular name - choose an original one - and be done with it. Either that, or choose a last name and be done with it. Stop complaining about options. This didn't happen in the race/gender change thread.
