And this is in A3! After THIS person wiped 4 people running into them with a tether. I just don't know what to say. But I feel like soon I will be able to make a collage of chat screenshots.

The Alex Normal Weekly Nightmare... You know what, I gave up on DPSing there (outside of A1) unless I have an awesome party. Most of my runs end up with 1-2 wipes because someone doesn't care about mechanics.
Yesterday my party had a Bard die 3 times to lasers in A4 because he moved. After the third time he got Nisi. Really, WHY bards and machinist always 'moonwalk' towards the healers? Stay in the center, damnit!

There is that one video on youtube, with a SCH solo-healing A4. As though this was not quite a hard task already, he saved one dps from death sentence in the last phase during the first healer-debuff thing. To make it worse, during the second debuff part, 3 of his peers ran by him and got touched by his own debuff, making 4 players to heal (of whom, he rescued 2 or 3 from death). They finally cleared it. This player has my utter admiration ^^

My own little horror story, not as bad as what most seem to experience, but still..xD
Daily expert roulette, got Fractal. PLD, BRD, BLM, no one was new, all adequately geared, basically one of the nicest setups ever to rush through :3
We got to the first room and I noticed...something was wrong. The tank only pulled the smallest amount possible yet it still took ages for anything to die. Even with the bigger groups no one EVER used AoEs...
But honestly, the worst part was that apart from those insanely small pulls, the tank was kind of..perfect x.x
He never got hurt a lot, perfectly used his cooldowns, never stood in any AoEs...I was in dps stance pretty much throughout the whole run. He wouldn't even let me do the container thingy on the 2nd miniboss.
The worst part was - I was dealing so much dmg that I was constantly close to being OoM. Because I had to keep a certain safety margin, I ended up just standing there...bored to death, staring at the dps who took ages to kill anything, no need to heal the tank, no MP to dps.
It was horrible ;_;
So I complained to the tank that he was too perfect, he switched to Sword Oath and STR accessories for platforms and final boss, and in combination with the dps' mess-ups, I finally got something to do
After the run finished and the dps had left, I went back and..ehm..uh..summed up the dmg numbers in the chatlog...and realized a PLD had just out-dpsed the dps...by about 100% >_>
But yeah, summed up, this run taught me that there are few things more boring than being unable to do ANYTHING. I always say "healers could always dps if the tanks are good, don't be lazy, healers!" but once you reach the point where you can't even dps anymore...*sigh*

This happened about two weeks ago. I was ASTing A1 normal with two tanks in my FC to help someone get loot.
Just a brief synopsis on what happened:
- WAR tank was 2nd on the DPS chart
- PLD tank was 3rd on the DPS chart
- Three of the DPS were within +50 DPS of my AST who was doing 400 DPS
- At least one missile exploding on the second set and onward for the remainder of the fight
*Rubs temples*

Not sure if this would count but I once had a summoner who got really mad at me (after we had wiped one or two times) for not helping them kill the holy fireballs in The good ol' Vault.
This was a fair while into my healing career in the Vault Hell but I wasn't very confident in my ability to keep enough MP on me to heal and DPS from time to time, so whenever the fireballs would appear I would focus on putting Stoneskin and all the regens I had on everyone for the incoming hellish impact of fire and pain.
I honestly didn't mind them being angry at me over that because they might have actually been a little right.
But what bothered me the most was when they gunner in the party oh so kindly offered to use his skills to up my MP, the summoner snapped at them and told them that I could heal my MP by myself.
I can take people shitting on me for something but I WILL break someones neck if people start being an asshole to someone who honestly only wanted to be nice and help.

Not so much a healING horror story as much as a healER horror story:
Just finished Praetorium on my WHM and the other healer (another WHM) never cast any heals but Medica II.. which may be ok if he/she was dpsing but.. well... they were dpsing, but not in Cleric Stance and just spammed Stone II the whole dungeon. Just. Why? I am ok with co-healers that want to just heal or just dps... No issue at all doing the full work of the "other side" but to halfass both just... *throws hands up in the air*.

Today, I got Stone Vigil in leveling roulette as a White Mage. I'm fine with Stone Vigil. I was even fine with the slightly-crazy tank that dragged aevis into bigger pulls because he actually knew how to use cooldowns and I've been healing for a good while now so I know how to abuse Regen to sneak in some DPS too. What I wasn't fine with was the dragoon. From the very first pack of mobs, he was standing in every last floor AoE. Either he was doing it on purpose or for some unfathomable reason he thought he should be dps'ing the front sides of the mobs, because the first few AoEs in there are frontal cones from the drakes. He stood in the first one, I threw a Regen on him. He stood in the second one, I threw another Regen on him. He stood in the third while the Regen was still ticking from the second... yeah. I let him hit the floor on the fourth one, Raised him, then asked him politely not to stand in everything.
He stopped for awhile. Then, at the second boss while I was trying to get the cannons (a tornado parked right freaking on top of the one I needed so I couldn't get to it) he stood inside 2 tornados DPS'ing at the rear side of the boss when there was plenty of room on both flanks. I don't even. The worst part was, the Bard consistently outdamaged him through the entire dungeon (I didn't say anything about this to the party, it's more of a sad footnote than anything). All I can surmise is that he enjoys the taste of floor candy.
