Now that the angle isn't odd and the picture quality is less grainy, I'm much more satisfied with how the male contest winner came out. Will still need to see how it highlights, but definitely happier with it now than I initially was when someone showed that one image from the Live Letter (or wherever it came from). Goes to show not all angles are flattering!

You mean a hairstyle common (though not exclusive) to people of African descent, since outside of that specific genetic population, there isn't really a measurable difference in how 'white' or 'non-white' hair styles.
