I'm betting iLvl999! Who wants to raise the stakes? IlvlDerp?
Man, this is ridiculous. True, haven't played WoW, but all the other games didn't have this silly system..
Can't wait to test the exploration with me and my GF lol
SE can also just increase the ilevel range of the equips that can drop there ("up to ilevel 240" instead of "up to ilevel 210") and add a new difficulty level, like expert or extreme (making the enemies as strong as primals ^^).I doubt there will be a new set of Airship Explorations in 3.3. We're talking about brand new maps and they are very hard to design. In dungeons, you direct the players where to go, in maps, the players go where ever they want. A lot more detail needs to go into them. Think of all the nice details on the 3.0 maps, I feel it took a lot of time and effort to get it all right, something which will be very hard to find the time for in the middle of the content rush of the big patches.
It don't need to be a complete new designed map.

Wasn't there talk about letting FCs beat open world primals and gain the ability to summon it once for a week? I think that was in closed or open beta.
With most of my friends and FC being avid gatherers (and me, late to the party; started gathering in 2.4), I'm excited about finally being able to do something together with them. I'm mostly fueled by battle content, and love raiding, so we've often been at odds for things to do together.
Yes, and i wonder what happened to that plan. Was the idea scrapped maybe?
That is a shame.
Also maybe i did not see that portion but gear will actually be dropped?
Very silly if that be true, how much different gear options is there needed.. sheesh

I don't really like the fact that the system's hard mode is tied to FC housing rather than just FCs. My FC has enough members to run this content, but due to the horrid housing market, we still don't have a house. The house collapse system should have been implemented well before airships, not to mention new housing areas. On highly populated servers, there's no housing available, and FCs can't participate in the Hard explorations just because they don't have a house. Why couldn't we build airships as a FC in Ishgard in a rental dock? Or through Cid?
I honestly doubt anything below Hard will be meaningful for me or a gear upgrade. So there's not much incentive for me here because the system was built on top of a very large housing problem. When houses do disappear, we still have to buy the plot before someone else, and then we still have the time sink involved in creating the airships. 3.2 is basically going to be here before I can participate in Hard. I have to stress again that my FC could run this content since we have enough high level members; it's just a matter of it being locked behind the housing problem.
pink gear get dropped, with random ilevel (up to 210) and random 2nd stats.
You can keep them, spiritbind them or trade them for points.
With the points you can buy the exploration sets (ilevel ??)
Even if you are waiting for a house for your FC. You still have to wait 45 days after 3.1 to see if a house frees up, which if most people on your server all come back for 3.1, it will just continue your problem.
Yup, had a guy who hadn't played at all since months before HW suddenly log in yesterday. He owns an M personal home...wondering if he heard about reclamation or if it was just a coincidence.
