If someone bitches about you not DPSing in a trial or dungeon, feel free to kick that person for harassment. There is absolutely 0 obligation for a healer to DPS in ANY content other than bleeding edge raids.
With this line of thinking, a paladin only has to flash until threat is established, then can spam /dance until the pull is over.

Kick anyone who disagrees for harassment.
