I ran into one of those ice mages before. Cast nothing but blizzard 2. I was the tank and queue with a healer in my fc. The healer told him he should be casting fire spells like fire 2 and flare for aoe pulls. His response, "blizzard 2 is more mp efficient"

Nothing we could say could convince him otherwise. The run was horribly slow. There are people who don't want to hear advice that will help them play better.

Well, the only thing I can really think of is that everyone back out from the party after adding everyone then remaking a party and adding everyone back to the party without the specific individual but that's tedious as all hell

Not 1000 DPS, but 1000 DPS per second. OP was just making a Reddit joke reference, based on a BRD who wouldn't play Foes because "[I] lose 50% DPS when I do 1000DPS per second without it" or something stupid.

I laughed when I read the 1000dps/second thing cause I remember that thread. xD

All of this serves to make me so glad I queue for Expert with at least 1 friend. It makes it so much easier to get rid of dead weight if you should happen to run across it. The fun part is, we're always in voice chat too. If someone is undergeared but actually playing well, good on them. If someone takes advice graciously, good on them. Even better if they put it to immediate use. If someone replies to said advice with some bull about roleplaying an ice mage or a comment like 'lol sorry watching tv', it ends up going something like this:

Me: "Wait, what? Is he serious?"
Friend 1: "Yep. What do we wanna do? Vote kick?"
Me & Friend 2: "Vote kick."

TL;DR - Your $15 may entitle you to play however you want, but my $15 entitles me to reintroduce you to the ass end of the queue.

i am for those to play their own style
no, i am not for them wasting other people's time.

TLDR:
dungeon content is made for each person to carry their own weight, kick them if they refuse to carry their own

rewriting my post a bit I was sleepy so my first post didn't make sense.

First I think the dps/s joke is silly (on the more stupid level) and making fun of how someone worded something no matter how stolly/stupid is a bit uncool.

secondly, people troll some people play purely to troll. That is their fun no matter how we dislike it. They will say anything, just to get under your skin, like "this is my playstyle", to "but blah blah is more blah blah". If you haven't noticed a trend (like i do) trolls follow a trend to what is a popular troll tatic. I wouldn't be surprised they record it for youtube to try and be net famous.

Take example of ice mages, this was talked about as a "bad" player on an "don't rp in dungeons" thread. There was a big responce to this and then a rise in "ice mages". Which is why i didn't say it was a real thing just a troll tatic. The only other people who act like this are ones you don't play video games, and are not game savvy.

Simply put don't feed the trolls, stop complaining about these people giving them the attention they seek, simply kick them or leave and move on. Don't come on to the forums complaining about it, as it just gives them attention and gives other trolls ideas.

I've never had to vote kick more than one person a run, because when people dc back to back, someone else is always willing to do it for me :P
