If the set goes for 15-20 I have to wonder why I'm even paying a subscription. WildStar, a free to play MMO, has costumes that can be purchased for around that price. Not only that, but you can earn tokens to buy these items in-game, without spending a single dime! You can then store them in your glamour log, that's right, a free to play game has a cross-character glamour log, something we will likely never get. Why do we have to pay for these things and where is this money going to? It's clearly not going back into the game.

Either you are being sarcastic or you didn't follow the link I posted. FF6 had a two "dinosaur type" dragon designs Tyrannosaur (based loosely on the Tyrannosaurus Rex) and Brachiosaur (based loosely on the Diplodocus). The monster's color pallet (tan top, pink underbelly) match up with the coloration used for the Brachiosaur in game.

I mean I wasn't around 65 million years ago to see it for myself, but I'm pretty sure the dinosaur mob in the 3.1 video is based on the Brachiosaurus not the Diplodocus (from the shape of the skull).

Swotting up on the FFVI mob tells me that the Brachiosaur in that game was named so as an approximate phonetic match of the Japanese 'Burakioreidosu'. I don't know what that means in English because Google won't tell me, but it sounds like the localisation team used the term 'Brachiosaur' because coincidentally it sounded similar. Nothing to do with Dippy though.

And everyone knows that Dinosaurs were created by Richard Dawkins and Steven Spielberg to sell more Pepsi to heathen unbelievers.

It's a cash shop. It's more cash if you have to buy an item for all the characters you wish to have it on - simple as that, sadly. /shrug

The community wanted a shop where you can buy an item as much as you want instead of a shop where you can buy an item only once and not anymore.
(during the time the devs started to sell fantasia bundles (1, 3 and 5) as account bonus items, long before the cash shop came online)

I think they mean gear for battle classes, seeing as battle gear from crafting is not only expensive but useless now. Not even useful for the glamour since there's a cheaper option.

you can get crafter gear with redscrips, but you cant meld it. the stats are very close to the white gear when melded. To be able to meld the 2* gear, you need to craft it.

It's a 30 minutes cooldown, the translator heard incorrectly.

no it's a 2 hour cooldown from the moment you enter, it's only a 30 minute cooldown if you spend the entire 90 minutes in there. if you spend less time in you have to wait longer so if you spend 60 minutes in there the timer will be at 60 minutes till you can re-enter. Yoshi-P explained that the 2 hour cooldown was the only real restriction. (it was actually mentioned on the slides too)

Q5: Roughly how long will we be playing on a single island? Will it be easy for people that do not have a lot of time to participate?

A5: A maximum of 90 minutes. After entering, you will not be able to re-enter for 120 minutes. If you are exploring for 90 minutes, you’d have 30 minutes in between when you can enter again.

Not how crafting works.

Right now, to make 2 star recipes, you either need to over meld the Chimerical set, or you need some crafting AF2.

3.1 is adding new crafting recipes, and they mentioned no accessories in 3.1, so one would assume these new recipes will be 3 star, and 3.2 would be adding 4 star recipes...

Since each new star requires more Craftsmanship/Control, you're basically going to have to get AF2 to make the new stuff, without it you just wont meet the Craftsmanship/Control requirement. So no, I imagine AF2 will very much be the opposite of useless, with Airship Exploration giving a new source of Red Scrip materials, the crafted set is also going to be "easier" to produce, since it'll no longer solely be locked behind Red Scrips and their 450/week limit.

Well.. atleast they are again reusing old stuff to sell rather than creating completely new stuff.
I am not glad about this, but it is better than if they created new stuff specially for mogstation..

this is completely backwards to me. if they want to make more money they should create new products.

taking something they have already created and selling it for more is blatantly ripping off the consumer.

They also said they're adjusting tank damage calculations in 3.2, so that could be a huge boon to tanks as far as accessories go.
