Finally, some news.
Just two more weeks ^_^
I imagine you'd want it to make the new stuff coming... The materia melding stuff is only for STR/DEX/VIT/MND/INT/PIE, so you can still overmeld crafting/gathering stuff with their respective stats (and combat gear with Crit/etc.), and melding purchased gear was specifically tomestones/raid gear, not Red Scrips stuff.
I'm definitely looking forward to Gil having a purpose now... Some might complain that you need materia now, but... Well, how many are running around in i200 and not chasing i210? You'll be able to meld new tomestone stuff to make it better if you want, just like you can go after Gobdip to improve AF2 if you want.

Those materia changes... So we all need(well, you know what I mean) to pentameld our gear in 3.2 o.O And it's probably gonna be materia V then.
I need to start making gil/farm materia in 3.1
unless I am misunderstanding:
Q24: Do you have plans to add 3.0’s Y’shtola and Ysayle’s hairstyle?
A24: We’re planning to introduce a set of equipment and hairstyle which will allow players to look like NPCs as Mog Station optional items. Minfilia’s hairstyle and equipment will be added. The price hasn’t been decided yet, but this one is female-only equipment. (Showed an image of characters dressed as Minfilia.)
Good that the NPC stuff is in Mog Station. I don't want a bunch of people running around in what honestly should stay unique NPC models...

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME
crafting and gathering melding is still safe i think.
IMO they take the crafting and gathering melding as role model for battle class melding, in crafting you cant melding a control focused gear (head, hand, shoes) with a full craftmanship (that will be OP, really really OP), unlike tank acc where you can full meld STR materia to VIT Acc, vice versa.
Well.. atleast they are again reusing old stuff to sell rather than creating completely new stuff.
I am not glad about this, but it is better than if they created new stuff specially for mogstation..
I will never understand this "It could be worst" attitude. It's already worst than it should be: All items being available via in-game actions as well as available on the Mog $tation as a shortcut. What would be so bad about that? You'd be able to throw your money at it if you're lazy, or you could earn it in the game. Why are the glamor options being kept exclusive to the Mog $tation when we, paying a sub, should expect to be able to obtain the items?
This isn't SWTOR.
