    Yeah, I don't see it happening either but I'd love to have the option to choose these markings seperate from the face, just like the idea of au ra horns being seperate from the face. It would be one way of adding more diversity to character creation.

    If you don't want them but stay Miqo'te, your only option is to switch to Seekers. Keepers are yet to ditch the war paint tradition of old times.
