    The chat yeah but not macros that include /party and then saying something. So like you can type /party Hello and it will work, but any Macro's that have /party in them don't work if it's just the chocobo. At least on PS4 it doesn't. Huge pain since any time I make a macro that includes that I can never test it until actually in a dungeon. Which is why I never do them anymore.

    Erm. If you have your bo out it is treated like a normal party and all the party macros work with it. It's what I've used to test and setup mine when I was still using some.

    100% doesn't work for me with text like /party, just tested it. I have a simple macro I used to use at the end of a boss, all it is is "/party 'Thanks everyone!" and I have it on my hotbar. Just brought on my chocobo and when I press it, absolutely nothing happens. If I change it to /say "Thanks everyone!" or /shout "Thanks everyone!" it works fine, but /party doesn't. As soon as I go into a dungeon with real party members, I can press it all I want and it always works.

    Hmm will test tomorrow once chaos worlds are back on. But I know it used to work. Maybe something changed.

    I'm not sure! Not a huge deal though as I really never use that, was just saying that's the reason I didn't think to try testing Synastry with the chocobo since /party never worked in macros with it for me so just figured chocobo wasn't really the same as a party member and didn't bother trying.

    You can also test stuff like this by summoning your chocobo to form a party. <3
    Does this actually work or have you just made it up? Synastry specifically says "Each time you cast a healing spell on a party member not under the effect of Synastry, the party member with which you have the synastry bond with will also recover HP equaling 40% of the original"

    They changed Synastry at the time they buffed AST majorly so that even if the person you're healing is the bonded target, they'd still get the bonus. Check your tool tip now According to Garland's database, it should say:

    Generate an aetheric bond with target party member. Each time you cast a single-target healing spell on yourself or a party member, the party member with whom you have the bond will also recover HP equaling 40% of the original spell.
    Increases spell-based HP restoration by 20%.
    And yes, it does work. Nothing like healing a WAR tank for something in excess of 13K on a single Benefic II for giggles >>;
