I'd certainly like to see something along the lines of Skyrim's Hearthfire DLC where we could adopt a child. Maybe do it through FC rooms so you could have a separate room from that for your child that you can decorate for them and have some quests/activities. Maybe they can be found sometimes in the housing area's streets playing with other children. And have them act on a schedule, like go to bed, go to school etc. Could be pretty cool.

For similar reasons, I am STRONGLY against the idea of actual players being able to play as children. The people who would do wrong things with that FAR outnumber the number of people who would simply role play as an actual child.....

I really don't think it's reasonably possible for the WoL to actually be a child. Our characters go through so much physical and mental torment. Taking all that and depicting it as happening to someone that young is just plain wrong on so many levels. There are quite possibly laws or regulations against it in some countries, and even if there aren't, I can't see that level of violence to a child as going over well. People say it would be cute for their character to be a child, but I know I would find a lot of the cutscenes (and a fair portion of the dialogue, now that I think about it) downright disturbing if you were to swap out an adult character to one of those adorable little bob-tailed Miqo'te kids.

You get your loot from the cookie jar - but only if you manage to sneak by the grown-ups without being seen! Otherwise, you quickly have to combo an excuse before the enrage timer hits or you get grounded and might have to do chores.

In 1.0 the description on the onion helmet was that parents gave it to children who were starting out as adventurers. So it's not unheard of for there to be child adventurers. The idea of having them pick things up for you while in the field reminds me of the dog in fable 2 or the cat minions in monster hunter.

I wanna see a kid Au Ra after this event. And a kid Roe. We've got kid Elezens and Hyurs, and no one would be able to tell if a Lala is a kid or adult unless they make the kid Lalas as tall as a grown Lala's knees...

While the prospect of playing as a child in a game where skimpy clothes exist is just wrong for so many reasons, I do like the tail Miqote's have as a child. Looks cute and maybe if they add it I might switch back to a Miqote. Manx cats have no/stub tails and SE did release a pic of a Miqote without a tail.

There's a cute Miqo'te girl in Mhor Dona after you get to a certain point in the story. She is playing hide and seek with the other kids, quite adorable.
