The unbelievable things that happen in Sastasha. Yesterday I had an Astrologian in my group who said "First time here". Like what? How is that even... Miracle.

lol that is laughible. Considering they HAD to of done it at least once to even go through the MS and get to Ishgard to unlock Ast in the first place. The silly thing probably either had not done it in a long time and forgot all about it, or he never healed the dungeon before. Which that place is a snoozefest most days.

My husband and I play together in the same room and have come across many hilarious and terrifying moments in the DF.

This short story is because of my easily distracted hubby lol.

We were in Manor; he played a DRG and I was a SCH at the time. Going thru the motions, nothing spectacular. Of course no one says a word from the "Hello" at the start. We're working our way down to the basement killing skelly's, bats and bees when I notice he's auto attacking a lot. I ask him if he's okay and he doesn't answer. I see we're on the last mob and I hate it when he gets left behind cause of alt-tabbing music whatever and I raise my voice "Hey, pay attention!!" I hear his keyboard crash as he picks up the controller and in game all the sudden the last mob dies instantly!

He LB the half dead skeleton!

I burst out laughing, the tank in our group said "Man, the DRG must've really wanted that thing to die!" Other comments like that come and everyone is talking while my hubby is mumbling/snickering. Clearly embarrassed.

Least the rest of the dgn run was entertaining! Everyone was talking sharing stories and of course picking on what my hubby did.

Level roulette as AST - I feel like doing something good to others and join in progress. I end up in Garuda NM with two bards and a freakin' GLADIATOR. Told him how to unlock the paladin and kicked him, then waited 10 minutes for another tank. One of the bards tells me that the healer that left was even a worse sucker than the gladiator. No tank joins, thus I propose a try without one. Wipe during the first add phase, a bard writes "at least we got further than before". Finally a warrior joins, we kill Garuda without problems, bard hits 56, other bard hits 58, I hit 54, everyone is happy.

A few days ago I popped DF for my daily run as a scholar. We got Garuda, downed her on the second try, all the while the tank kept asking for a dispel. I checked my abilities twice, didn't find such type of ability and thought that scholars must get it later. He kept asking, I kept replying "I don't have such an ability, I am not a white mage". After the dungeon I decided to check when scholars get their version of "Esuna". Leeches. Level 40. I was 49. Ashamed that I had forgotten to do the scholar quests, I went late to bed the following night, after having done all the job quests I've missed and putting a mouse over Embrace macro on my keybinds in an apologetic attempt at becoming a better scholar.

Today I have finished the Stone Vigil with a healer wearing Brayflox chest piece and... crafting gear. Luckily I was practicing stoneskin usage as synced paladin so we managed to clear it.

The first time I healed this dungeon I thought that it was difficult... now I cry silently how naive I was.

I ran into a tank that would ONLY target one enemy, always the one he was attacking. He would never switch targets or use AoE moves. This was very aggravating because me and the healer would always end up tanking one.

Ran low level on my MCH, ran into a tank that wouldn't mark and would only attack one thing at a time, got really mad when people ripped aggro.

I started dotting everything so when the tank did lose hate (which they always did), the adds would come to me and not the healer. The tank got mad at me for "AoEing", when I explained what I was doing was to protect the healer, he got really mad and just left.

We waited 15 minutes for another tank and never got one, so we vote abandoned.

Trial roulette as AST, I end up fighting Ramuh, together with another AST. I ask which stance she prefers, but no answer. The MT pulls and I decide to pick Diurnal while the other AST remains without a stance. Well, soon I notice that her stance doesn't matter as she doesn't heal anyway, leaving me solohealing. DPS is low as shit and I can't even help because I AM FU%!#ING SOLOHEALING. At about 30% the MT dies, I wait for a reaction from the other AST because I'm running low on mana and hope that she'll do the rezz, but no. At 20% the AST finally activates a stance, and guess which one, of course it's a second Diurnal, but it still doesn't matter anyway because I AM STILL FU%!#ING SOLOHEALING. At 10% she dies and I decide not to rezz her because of my mana that I need to do what I've been doing during the entire freaking duty until that point. Why pick up dead flesh. And guess what? I didn't get a single freakin' commendation for FU%!#ING SOLOHEALING.
