I tried to help someone with Ravana story in DF yesterday.

We got five swords.

I started leveling a PLD like 3 days ago.
Once I got to lvl 17, I went into Leveling roulette, with in-progress checked.
I got into Tam Tara in progress, use the shortcut, find myself in front of the last boss who was already pulled and being done by the healer and 2 DPS, while they were full HP, the boss was at around 20%.
I just stood in front of the gate for like 2 or 3 minutes till they killed it, and got the EXP, leveled twice. Was fun.

Qued for trials roulette, entered, Ravana, before the barrier went down, 3 people left, so left also, requed and got Cape westwind.

~Queues for all 4 Alexander raids
~Gets A2 in progress
~Enters raid to see everyone getting spawn killed by the first 2 adds including tanks. Party never wipes because people kept respawning so the adds never resetted leading to an endless chain reaction of spawning and dying instantly.... Luckily for me I wasn't caught in the chain and I just watched and laughed. I never seen anything like this happen since.

I got one.

~Queue for Trial Roulette as 189 WHM.
~Get Ravana.
~I like the fight and there's no new people.
~Party stand around for 5 mins asking if this is EX or not.
~2 more as the tanks bicker about who should main tank.
~WAR main tanks while PLD does piddly damage as OT.
~Whatever. It's DF.
~Things go fine until Butterfly phase.
~Get 2 swords so I help DPS a bit.
~MT dies. WTF he was at full health.
~PLD refuses to take aggro while I rez MT.
~SCH is doing... stuff. I barely saw any heals go out.
~We survive... barely.
~Ensue battle for Prey which results in the WAR dead again because I'm the only one healing.
~Take aggro.
~Die.
~PLD finally decides to tank but as soon as the WAR gets up, he tells him to Provoke.
~I get rezzed and suddenly the SCH feels like healing again.
~Things go... relatively smoothly but gets kinda intense once Ravana gets 8 stack.
~Gets 3 comms.
~Wasn't that bad actually.

Being lvl 37 Astrologian that heals through big giant ass pulls and still doesn't get commendations :'(

I had a similar situation when I leveled the bard. Level roulette in progress, get Brayflox, final boss is already pulled. I watch the show, see the boss die and even get a commendation.

Today in the Fractal Eso farm.

Got two black mages in the group. One was begging his mom for something (mom please afking ^^), then they DCed. After few minutes we removed them. Got another black mage. The tank was happy about so many black mages. Also he informed us that he is a noob. I thought "Great. Small pulls then". Tank done your usual pull. I was a little bit baffled, but okay. After the first boss it seemed like we were going to kill just the first two packs... tank decided to run to the next room... after few seconds of running, his tanking style was quite interesting - like a squirrel on caffeine - the white mage (me) died, then also the rest of the group. I thought that it would discourage the tank from overpulling... I thought wrong and we wiped again. Third time the charm we done a normal pull and then killed the second boss. We teleported to the circle room. Tank were nowhere to be found. One black mage aggroed the mobs... we somehow killed them while squishy-tanking. Then we moved to the jump pad... tank still nowhere to be found... he admited to be lost. Eventually he caught up with us. Funny how trying to rush things makes them actually take longer.

Btw. of course the tank was a Lala. ._.

Neverreap for ex, with a DRG and a BRD. I check weapons and see i180 and i200.. Cool. Friend is on WAR and I'm on SCH, so I figure it'll be a quick run.

First island took forever to kill, even with me dpsing since eos covered the heals. I was a bit confused, and even more so when the next pulls were just as slow. So, during the first boss, I take a peek at the threat meter.

The. BRD. Is. BELOW. Eos.

Took some looks throughout the rest of the dungeon and pretty much always was that way.. Even though I did see animations from his skills. What the hell. D:
