    Sad that some/all mounts are given flying capabilities only cause the RP community says it looks "unrealistic" or kills their immersion or what have you.

    Even with unrealistic, some are borderline absurdity. At least something like a fat chocobo already has wings (and the fact its a chocobo, only, well...fat which can inherently fly). I personally don't particuarly want to see things like bears, horses (espesically ones with no magical affinity like the wardsteads) magically sprout (organic) wings.




    Apply something like that to a gobbule, tortoise or a bear and that's imo breaking the willing suspension of disbelief in even a fantasy setting like FFXIV.
