Well I will be re-subbing again before the seasonal event ends, but honestly they couldn't just add two days and see that it just expired when the maintenance ended? I had an active subscription when they said you needed to have one, if there is some other clause that you have to also have one when the maintenance ends then I won't even give a shite about the two extra days anymore, but I will still be annoyed that I'm going to have to re-sub to find out how much I'm affected by the server transfer when I should have been able to test it out first then see if I need to server transfer or not if it's bad.

The original was 2 days but since the maint took less time, they reduced the number of days to one.

Even if you end up transfering servers, it's not like you intend to quit the game, so you'd have to prolong your sub anyway..?

Give people a bone, they want the whole bird. Seems like he's mad that Square took down an entire datacenter for this maintenance, even if it was to literally move the datacenter to another country. Given the speed of completion seems like they made sure all was ready well before the actual data transfer. Hope they fix some of the DNS routing in as timely a manner, seeing a few threads about that popping up. Still, a day of free time is a day of free time, they could have easily not given you a thing given how well in advance this maintenance was announced. So well in advance I'd honestly though they'd done it already a week ago...
