Did I mishear this?

I had thought that I read somewhere that when the Chaos data center goes down for around 2 days that those on those servers would have their accounts credited for the down time, was I wrong in hearing/reading that because nothing as such has happened?

I recall hearing that as well, but that was when the planned maintenance was estimated to be 4-5 days, not 2.

Don't worry about no info on that yet, people have to buy their way to Chaos first, then we'll know about any sort of subscription extension. I assume. Like how they also put past Halloween items in the cash shop about two weeks before spilling the details about this year's event. ^^

Welp, glad it ate up my last two days to test how the transfer affected me since I'm in the US, I now will have to pay 15+$ to resub to find out if my Ping and everything has been wrecked by this and I'm on PS4 so WTFast and such won't help me if I am negatively affected by this now. Thanks SE, couldn't just let subscriptions NOT time out during two days of maintenance could you?

There's been info on this year's Halloween event for like 3 months, for the rewards anyway. Shit somebody even data mined some pics and posted here lol

Yes, well, that info has been around - "someone" has datamined "some pics". Not the same as actual official Lodestone news.

Well I certainly met those requirements, I was on 60 days with a time card and it would have expired normally on the 20th when the maintenance should have ended, 60 days before that my account was active before September 18th, but I did not get a sub extension, so what a load.

They probably just haven't credited them yet. They never said when exactly they would that I know of.

Unless something changed, it's very probable that it just wasn't credited yet. These things generally don't happen immediately, but can be expected within a week or two following. Who knows how archaic their systems are on the matter. Some poor SOB might have to actually go one-by-one for each account to change it manually lol. Another thing though... does that mean you are no longer active from today? If so, there is the possibility that you won't get two extra days, due to the mention of an active subscription, which may mean more than just an active sub prior to 9/18. You might have to have one at the time of the credit.
