I doubt it is the case but it could also mean bad news. For example, most of those sound like positions that are already filled, what if part of the old team went on strike/decided to walk out all at once due to bad treatment/hours/work load/yoshi.p chain smoking and blowing too much cigarette smoke in their face etc.

Probably not the case but all things must be considered.

i might be pondering the same thing, they might just want to toss some resources in cause they need to launch already and maybe they think the time it would take without those resources would become way more detrimental to at least making there money back and profits for a year b4 they sink the game. if they keep them after launch it probably means more? lol i dunno how it all works, but i can bet u they been over worked for a long time though.

he isn't very far fetched ...if you type in google "why warhammer failed" you'll get a million pages of things that went wrong with launch for that game and who was to blame, and how screwed managers are an how over worked the devs get and then they still fire them. in fact till like last month the main few posts that came from the source were up and running an they finally shut them down for some reason but they still all over the net. a fired dev went into huge details, and then after that many other devs from ea, and other mmo's came out and posted there too and how bad it is and how bs the way these companies run there mmo making.

fact my favorite post on that site came from a dev from gw, he states that the big guys up top told them, who cares what the customers want, we will make it how we want and they will like it. in reality this is always in my head in these forums cause in reality i don't think any of the shirades of voting and posting what we want or don't want will make a big diff. specially not in a game that is going correctly and not trying to take whatever money they can from whoever they can.

Are they finally going to get some folks in to solve the issues with "server infrastructure" and "database structure" that's been tossed around so much as an explanation to why they can't do certain things?

I'm tempted to apply to these since that is my current job.

It's good they are still hiring. Hopefully they hire some more coders for PC development and just general development too. This game needs a huge boost in both content and features if it is to compete in today/tomorrow's market.

Yeah SURE. I'm afraid you have no idea of what kind of development effort this kind of addition would entail. Development AND testing by the way.

Implementing integrated features in a MMORPG isn't the same thing as creating a SQL database and throwing it on the net, if you didn't yet know.

it was exactly what u were talking about, u'r right nothing to do with op. but the last few posts it did, i added that towards what was being said about someone elses post. i didn't fail. everything i typed is a fact, and it don't take a brain surgeon to think every company is running there business kinda the same and same problems occure. get your head out u'r butt, if i'm negative it cause the convo was pushed to negativity. i'm happy joy they hired more people, still don't think it really means squat in reality to me or most who expecting a certain type of game play.

again someone posted, someone else replied to him very rudely (You by the way) ...i added my say in to help factialize his thoughts. how did i fail outside of joining the negativity for a moment cause rejects who like to talk usually don't know crap bout anything. you can keep being a zombie. also i bet you never googled what i said neither. it has everything to do with the convo at hand.
