It might just be the way I have my bars set up and I play on controller as a Dragoon yet I don't see any need for macros. but I do hope if ppl are having trouble the and get it fixed I saw some were that for those that play controller weither your pc or ps4 that there is a way to merge your left and right bars to help simplify switching between them. by doing so some were in the character config.

Are you referring to Contagion? Otherwise, what Conflag do you mean?
If it's Contagion, it doesn't really work because Garuda will use it before Tri-Disaster's DoTs are fully applied. It will sometimes work if she is preoccupied with another attack and Contagion is delayed, but it's too unreliable.
Hmm worked fine for me most of the times... dunno why so many people have problems with this combination : /Are you referring to Contagion? Otherwise, what Conflag do you mean?

I think it's the "most of the time" part that has people saying it's bad.
This is easily rectified, though, by just adding a <wait.1> or <wait.2> to the end of the Tri-Disaster bit.
/ac "Tri-Disaster" <t> <wait.2>
/pac "Contagion" <t>
Or something like this. It'll give Tri-Disaster time to settle before Garuda pops Contagion. As long as you aren't spamming multiple macros, it should be fine.

(But really you should just be using Ifrit because he's actually a dps increase)

I really felt like BLM had too many buttons after 60, so I worked macros into my rotation. The big ones I use are:
Quelling Strikes -> Sharpcast -> Fire III (Three button presses)
Raging strikes -> Leylines -> Enochian -> Fire I (Four button presses)
Then I just fire IV until
Swiftcast - Flare - Convert (Three button presses. Convert fires first if I fudged my mp management which is a good thing most of the time.)
I used to swiftcast the fire III, but I found out that it's better to leave swifcast for manual use outside of flare. I suppose you could macro it to Blizzard IV... but that's not always needed and may not always be worth it. I also use convert in the same manner. It's on the bar for emergency use, but mostly I use it for flare. I also have a bar without macros, but I mostly use that just do ARR rotations without wasting cool downs. I also track cool downs on a different bar all together.

Adding one new born macro foe summoner:
Dreadwyrm Trance + Deathflare
You need to keep the CDs in check obviously but it runs perfectly cause Trance only works if you have 3 Aetherthrail stacks while Deathflare only works if you have Trance on

This might be a very specific one you won't use very often but I still find it handy. I'm a DRG btw. I have one button that I've put in every buff I have available. If I find myself in Chrysalis, be it to help a friend out or getting it in roulette, I quickly put this macro on my hotbar. I spam it right as I'm about to sucked into the void or whatever it's called. It can also be used right at the end of a fight like Odin when he starts casting Zantetsuken, or on the Mog King.
The main reason I'm writing here is because it made me so happy, and I'm excited to try some of these out on my different classes (as soon as the EU server is up) and I just wanted to thank y'all that have contributed to this thread. You rock!
