there is lot's to do in the game i have gotten smn to lv 60 1 week of heavensward but just got law book yesterday, eso i have like 75 off so i have no rush. started leveling paladin it is currently on 51 now. do have all my crafts on lv 50+ so now i can craft all carbuncle furnitures myself and i have decorated my fc room and me and my friends fc house, i am our fc leader so i help my friends with what they need. i do farm timeworn maps everyday and do gather, fish, mine there is lots to do other than running dungeons and capping tomes, that just burn you out and the game gets less fun to play, and i have played and never unsubbed since 1.0 even that game i liked

Those who just started playing this game, took a few months off, play other Triple A games, or have a low /playtime are still going to have content to catch up on. They join the discussion and say "I don't know what you guys are talking about. There's tons of stuff to do! Maybe you shouldn't bum rush content. Why don't you try playing a lot of the stuff you haven't or take it slower. Go level the rest of your jobs!"


Saying this to people who have played since 2.0, have never unsubscribed, and log in every single day is just going to fall on deaf ears. There's no point telling them to "Go play PVP" "Go beat Alex Savage" and "Go do old content." That's the same as telling them to "Go have no fun." They've already given everything a try by now (with a /playtime to prove it.) And it's not like it's their fault. A lot of content isn't properly incentivized.


"Go beat Savage Coil for a pointless title." "Go beat Bismarck EX 10 times for a weapon you'll replace the next day in Ravana EX." "Go craft all the two star Masterbook items that you can't put to any good use yet." "Dude, you haven't even done the sightseeing log yet?!" These players finished all the content they found "enjoyable" 6 weeks ago; and they still have four more to endure. Their complaints are valid. This is also the longest (by far) that we've ever had to wait for a new patch so it's only natural that the "I'm seriously bored of this..." threads are going to pop up.

People are saying I should do other content. I do PvP, ques are insane most of the time. I leveled some other classes, I still prefer my summoner. I got into gathering, I hit level 60, gathering for red scripts is basically Esos for gatherers. Crafting feels pointless. I didn't really rush anything. You can't rush content due to caps anyways, so that argument is bullshit. I should be able to play the game at whatever pace I like, and it is the company that owns/produces the games responsibility to come out with new content.

You can't rush anything in this game, all the best end game gear has a cap or a lockout. It will always take you a set time to get a specific set because unfortunately, thats how the game works. That would be fine, but everything is repetitive and gets boring. Should I just not do Esos for a whole week for the sake of keeping myself behind everyone so I don't "burn out"? I'm bored either way.

Then why make that comment on a thread that's talking about the game now, almost 4 months after the release of the expansion?

This is what happens when all focus is placed on endgame content. All the stuff that happens in the middle is rushed through since it has no real impact on your long term goals. When the limited number of things to do at the end grows tiresome it doesn't leave you much reason to do the other things you've already completed.

The middle content should act as a base for what you are going to build up, not just delay you from reaching the end.

At level 60, the only thing I DON'T do is the Heavensward dungeons from Levels 51 to 59 since there really is no point in them. Now, should SE add them to a roulette with Tomes, I'll run them.

Hold on people. In the words of Yoshida, now that the foundation has been laid with the 2.x series, they will be trying new things with the 3.x patch series, introducing new elements to the game even if they have a chance to fail.
That's the mission statement moving forward but it hasn't slowed down the complaint threads. To begin with, the airship exploration content is releasing *next month* and offers rewards up to item level 210 which to me says it is very relevant endgame.
You can run with flexible group sizes in those zones, perfect for FCs looking for something to do together, and fight very powerful notorious monsters, receive random rewards potentially up to the current highest item level available.
Seems they are actually filling in holes and providing more variety to endgame activities, people just need to wait for them to implement things they've told us they are going to do.
