Ooh, a mention of "copy-pasting" AND "immersion". Two broken-record whines in one sentence!
See if you can reword it using the terms "FFXI-2", "WoW clone", and "casuals" and you'll have yourself quite the humdinger.
Other than hastily written reviews written at the game's release by people who hadn't played the game, where do you get your idea that the game's world is "copy pasted"?
I ask you to keep in mind that there is a certain amount of "copypasta" in just about everything, and it can even occur naturally in the real world.
Look at all this Copy pasted work in this painting!
Whoever coined the term "Copy-pasta" needs to be drown and thrown in the nearest ditch for coming up with one of the most rediculous terms ever.

You mention dark souls, and thus demon souls, great game, the makers of which are working on Wizardry Online a f2p mmo. The game retains a lot of cheesy joke japanese appeal that I feel were in the old school FF rpgs, heck even in XII, missing in XIII to me :[. My thing is the game will be hard and death will be at every corner, in demon/dark souls they do a good job of making me so immersed I'm scared at certain points of the game. I wonder if their mmo can do the same. I just wonder, because it seems like if SE isn't good at what they were once good at, who is? Will I ever get the rpg adventure I want or am I stuck playing the ruined sequels of Dragon Age?

"Omg there are two similar looking trees outside my window! GOD COPY PASTA-ED!"
ffxiv needs more diversity, but some people take it way too far.
yea ffxiv was like my shining hope for a mmo that i could enjoy for longer then 6-12months, ...if se won't do it then i don't see any hopes for ever seeing another mmo that i can truely enjoy for long term. i'ma be stuck playing mmo's for short bursts and just quitting when i'm bored. shame se had to go with the route they took with this game, was very let down in soo many aspects and now i wait to see if it will make good or if i ever play another se game again><You mention dark souls, and thus demon souls, great game, the makers of which are working on Wizardry Online a f2p mmo. I've gone through a lot of roads that all looked the same.Ooh, a mention of "copy-pasting" AND "immersion". Two broken-record whines in one sentence!

I shall now go and complain to mother nature that she was copy&pasting.
