Okay, it's a fairly simple concept, Women have the freedom to either conform to gender roles (Which is seen as weak by society) or emulate men (Which are seen by strong by society), men lack this option and are given one option "be men", because a man shouldn't lower himself to more "womanly" things (according to society as is, anyways).
Feminine women are not seen negatively by society, try again. Or butch women would be seen as the ideal women. Feminity is just seen as a quality that can only be positive on women, because men have no inherent value and women do (ie before proving their worth as useful).

Basically, feminity as it is today is flaunting some inherent value, and men are seen as having nothing to flaunt, much like the peasant trying to emulate the rich guy.

Men are seen as USEFUL by society, if they're not they're dumped. They're not seen as strong, they're *required* to be strong. Not strong? Not worth supporting. Victimized men are treated as the worst, and as a burden on others.

So a man isn't lowering himself, he's trying to emulate someone with higher value, without having that higher value. So it's seen as usurpation. Lazyness. Desertion. See the bible edict about men not evading conscription in war by disguising as women, literally not wanting desertion, it's really *really* not out of concern for the dignity of their fellow men.

This is part of concepts that feminists have pointed out like toxic masculinity (Where men have to be men! If they wear 'women's' clothes they're weak) and the concept that masculinity is seen as desirable, but not femininity (Hence why one is unisex, but not the other)...
And it's just not logical, sorry. Sure, there is toxic masculinity and toxic feminity, but it's far from what you mention here. And has little to do with the presumed super-desirability of masculinity and vile-status of feminity. If you were right, fashion would be dead. And little girls would be taught "be practical, act like a man, or else you'll die alone and jobless" (kinda what boys are taught), certainly not encouraged to be feminine or expressive in any way.

Toxic masculinity is when you take masculinity up to 11 or feel forced to be hyper macho and pick fights all the time, feeling threatened. Toxic feminity is feeling forced to be (or act as) the helpless damsel airhead at all times, lest someone think you have agency. You can be certain this is not everyone, it's a tiny % of people.
