Time for a recruitment post! The Underdogs is a Rank 8 Free Company that has established ourselves with quite the reputation on the Leviathan server. Sometimes we’re called “That free company with a bunch of crazy people”, but most of the time people just seem to recognize our members as fun people to be around.

We are a community that has learned though the games may change, what we really value are the friends we’ve made. We decided that the best idea would be to set up a community for people like us. The values that we have set up for ourselves are simple and direct. We want to find more people like us to just enjoy playing some games together and having a good time.

What We Are:
• Chill and relaxed. We like to take things slow and have a good time socializing.
• Social. We’ve got a spiffy website, forums, event planner, and Teamspeak.
• A member-focused community that doesn’t keep leadership on ivory towers.
• Sort of multi-gaming. Right now most of our efforts are on FFXIV, but we’ll play anything together.
• Inclusive and open to making some new friends.
• Old-school RPG lovers. We dig the grind at times and enjoy grouping like it used to be.
• NA based, so most of our events will fit a North American play time.
• Active… no like really. Most of us are around every day and night.
• Real people. We all have work and lives to tend to so we get it.

What We Are Not:
• Heavily progression based. We really don’t want to rush the end game.
• Exclusionary. Cliques aren’t really our thing, so hopefully you’re open to meeting new people.
• Overbearing. The leadership is here to serve the members and help out instead of being bent out of shape over what gear you’re wearing.
• Rude. Really though, we’re all adults and just want to have a good time. Treat people with respect and you’ll get it back. We’re pretty easy to get along with.

Hello, I'm considering transferring my character from Exodus to Leviathan within the next few weeks. You say you're not "Heavily progression based. We really don’t want to rush the end game.". That's cool; I'm not either. However, I want to clarify. Are you folks working on Alex Savage & such? My thing really is raiding, so I'm considering transferring because Leviathan has the reputation of being a more "raid oriented" server than Exodus.

Also, as you can see, I'm a WAR (I really prefer tanking). I'm relatively new to FF14, but I played WoW for years as a tank. That's just my thing. If you're interested, we can talk more later. I'll be making a lowbie toon on Leviathan in the next few days, to scout things out a bit.

To tell the truth there is a number of us who do wish to get back into the raiding but we've been lacking somewhat in end game players and as a result or static tends to change. That said we are working on getting back up and running and maybe asking our alliance FC for help with missing members if needed. The majorty of us are casual based players though - we focus more on building up strong friendships than clearing raids - if that makes any sense.

When we do raid it tends to be at weekends due to time difference/work/collage ect.

Ok, so...let me put it bluntly: is clearing raids at a reasonable pace something some of your members enjoy? I'm fine with working on content (as long as everyone learns and makes progress), but I'd prefer to not bash my head against the same raid boss for weeks on end because 1 or 2 (or more) people refuse to learn to do their job.

Interested in joining as well. My sentiments are similar to Ralvenom as it pertains to raiding. Willing (and capable) to progress, social aspect a must; Prefer to wipe a bunch during progression and have fun vs. a second job but would expect progress to be made.

Bluntly put - we're currently going through a few changes so perhaps we'd not be right for you at the moment.
We are still open to new members - however things may be a little slow at the moment while we work out some things in the higher ranks of the Guild.
Raids as such may take a back seat.
