I'm really on board with this idea, mainly because I accidentally discard/lose items that I use often. Just yesterday I had to get a friend of mine to craft me a new pair of Kirimu boots of healing because I disgarded them and my company tabard doesn't look right without them. XD

Well... there's quite a difference between 5-6 extra things per job and five to six HUNDRED extra things per job, with all the possible glamours available through crafts and dungeon drops ^^;

Really? how many generic recolored gears are in the game?

I've been playing wildstar, and say what you will about the game, its glamour system is light years ahead of ffxiv. Ffxiv glamour system feels downright abusive the more I use it.

That doesn't really matter, though, since they all have separate item IDs. And different job/class limitations in some cases. So they'd have to consider all possible entries into the glamour log. ^^;

Who said ALL entries? Haven't you noticed team ff14 always add a little bit of scrap at a time?

So just because such a glamour log is implemented 10% at a time, there's no need to even bother with figuring out how much space is needed for 100% of it?

I'm not sure what your argument is based on, really O.o
