Face 1 is popular because it's a really beautiful face. Face 2 is less popular because, at least IMO, it has a slightly more derpy or head-in-the-clouds look to it. Face 3 can be really pretty as well, but a lot of people, myself included, hate the horns from face 3. Face 4 is interesting because it can be scary, angry or pretty (depending on features chosen) and I have considered using face 4, just never pulled the trigger.

I personally like this face a lot. It looks good with almost every type of lightning effect:

The horns are really big, and they could reduce its size a little, imo. I don't know if the dev. team is down for that kind of adjustments if suggested. They did say the memory allocated for such elements is very limited (And they exhausted all of it while designing this race). However, since we're talking about a reduction here, I don't think it should be an issue.

As for now, I'll just think they're like a "cute version" of the Black Dragon's (D&D) horns.

And this is the exact reason why outdated hardware should never be supported past its life expectancy. Because these are the limitations. There is a reason why games are not made to run on Windows 95 or 98 anymore. The hardware cannot handle it. Sorry console players, but just like PC users, you better upgrade your system when new ones come out.

Though when the dev team says that they have limited memory for those type of adjustments, that is just sad. Sorry PS3 players, but when your console finally gets dropped, the game will become so much better because of it. A game cannot be expected to become the greatest game there is, when you keep limiting its development.

Well, not hating on the Face #1 Au Ra, but it's likely popular because of the discreet horns and having the lowest amount of scales covering the face. With the right hairstyle, your scales become practically invisible and the horns blend in with the hair, giving you a rather Hyuran look... except that you get the moe body language you've always dreamed of. Comfort zone, and all that.

It might also just be that the average person picks the default face and works with it, though. I mean, the default faces tend to be quite common for most races, in my experience. Dunno whether it's laziness or default faces usually being the most attractive. I haven't experimented very much with all of them!

I have face 1 and put more scales on my face, the ones on the sides of the face, with the options because I liked the way they looked. Mainly picked it because i like the horn style and face.

I have a couple Glamour ideas I used for my Au Ra before I swapped to Elezen.
When I swap back to Au Ra I might go back to one of these looks. But i'm not really sure which one is the best. . .
Which one do you think I should swap to?
