XIV has thus far proven to be the not-quite-fanservice Final Fantasy with it's content so declaring 'not in my XIV' is pretty much too late now. Quick googling told me that there were cute bunnies in XII called "Vorpal Bunny" (Picture below)
I wouldn't mind to have these as a mount, I love the way they look, very cute hehehe.

True, but as I said earlier, they weren't roaming around in Eorzea before the expansion. And once again, it was just an example.
I agree with Gilraen, SE won't have any problems making something up to make a cute bunny mount "fit" into the game if they want to.
