A friend and I once went to A1N. We head to Faust, both BLMs suddenly log off at the same time, we wipe. We wait some minutes for them to return, but as they didn't, my friend started a votekick. It was declined, we were told that we were in a German 6-man-static (he spoke German and my friend doesn't understand it well, did I mention that I hate people talking in their mother tongue while other people in their group don't understand it?) and the BLMs said via TS that they will return. Hm, TS works but the game doesn't? Kinda weird. We wait some more without anything happening, my friend starts trolling around by pulling Faust and pulling it out of the arena and the like to provoke a votekick as both he and I didn't want to eat the penalty because of those idiots - but nothing happens. Then I started a votekick against him to make this nightmare end - and it's declined. WHAAAAAT! He trolled some more, I started an argument about the fact that I wish to finish the content before christmas, then started another votekick against my friend which was accepted that time. Weird. I left as well and was ashamed to death to live in the same country as those failed attempts of intelligent lifeforms.

Lolol i've come across a few of those "don't spoil the fight!" people. I get that you want to "experience" stuff fully for the first time but I don't see any harm in explaining what you need to do. Some people.. :P

I've gotten pretty good at combat typing largely just to adjust well to these players. I supply information as it becomes relevant, so that it pops into their chat logs at about the time they'd be looking around and wondering what to do. If they're already doing it... probably won't notice the text until after. Information may slow just slightly if I'm lagging and going for my 9-hit Berserk, though.

He logged off a second time. This was when the rest of us decided to troll him, since we were bored. "Nope, we aint kicking him. We'll troll him around and waste his time, until he decides to either leave and take the penalty or join us in doing the dungeon."

I love you. Wish I knew people more like you. What I HATE the most is that people trolling like that and THEN expecting to get kicked(because penalty lol). You guys trolled him harder! <3

But Faust? It's just a Punching dummy, the only possible danger are the ADDs. I just can't see a wipe to that happening.

First attempt, DRK says she's new but watched a guide and WAR said nothing. DRK waited for pull, WAR stayed in DPS stance, so DRK went for it after a minute. Neither touched adds and they ping pinged around the party. I called the WAR out for being an idiot and they said they did nothing wrong.

DRK OT'd the next run and had trouble keeping adds over heal aggro. The dps was very slow, so the out of control adds were threatening the healers (my fairy died). What I can't explain is a monk took significant damage.. Either he pulled aggro off the war in defiance, or he decided to kill adds.

Not that weird at all. Happens to a friend from time to time as well: Internet connection works fine, but the game refuses to start or just gives him a black screen without the possibility to do anything. Don't know why, but it's not that uncommon.
Well, the rest of your post sounds weird, indeed. Maybe they just wanted to troll you and your friend and wanted you to leave?

Okay, then it's just something I don't have any problems with - if I dc, it's not my game that crashed, but the entire internet ^^

New riveting story from DF. Queing for A4N, party seems competent enough. We get to the nisi. People start dying from things, the boss is on 10% health and I'm the last one standing. Here comes my glory moment, I use LB and die ressing everyone else! In 10 seconds everyone is dead again... Disband. Curtain.

I was spamming Sohm Al with my daughter(Really FC mate who calls me mom) and FC leader yesterday. Daughter wanted some tank pieces so I figured I could go along as a healer. I went in as an AST for those lovely, lovely card buffs. She's a WAR and FC leader was a BLM. We load in and we get a BRD. I'm thinking "Oh sweet this'll go great!". I was wrong. The BRD was putting out sub par damage and wasn't singing for the BLM as well as running out of TP at an alarming rate. He wouldn't even sing Army's Paeon for himself even though he needed the TP badly. I noticed he wasn't using minuet and kinda got annoyed. I understand some BRDs don't like it. Me personally? I love minuet and get upset when I get synced down so low that I can't use it. We reach the first boss and I aspected benefic my daughter, switch into cleric, and start dpsing. I throw out cards every time I can while dpsing as well. It was then that I noticed I was in third place for damage and the BRD was in fourth with no chance at even pushing himself into third. We clear the boss and that's when I get a chance to look at his gear. He was wearing i120 stuff which is fine for Sohm Al I suppose. I looked at his weapon and it was an Artemis Bow. No not a zenith, or atma, or novus, or nexus. A regular i80 Artemis Bow. I'm guessing my FC leader decided to do the same as I did and he pointed out to the guy that he'd do more damage with a better bow. His response? "Cool I don't care". We told him we cared because he was holding the group back. My daughter even pointed out that she was possibly doing more damage than him and she was in Defiance. His reply "I don't care this is an alt class and I'm only farming the card". FC leader stared a vote kick on him and it obviously went through. We got another BRD and this one didn't use minuet either but he did at least put out more damage than the one we had. After we got out I promptly switched to BRD and all went well in the next run we did.

This happens to me all the time. My internet has little bumps in quality and sometimes it is enough to kick me out of the game, but not other programs. I also recently started using my voice chat programs on a second machine, so if my main machine randomly shuts off, I still am in contact with people.
