It's sad to think that might actually be the best part of the Crystalline Prophecy expansion.

I wish I could have managed to understand how FFXI worked instead of spending most of my time as a dead miqo'te thief, or whatever miqo'te were called back then.

Could have saved me from the 5 year nightmare that was WoW.

I was still playing Ultima Online when XI came out. I never gave it a chance
And then WoW came along, and I kept playing UO... Then I gave in and tried WoW...
What a load of crack that was! O_O

I wish I had have given XI a try...

All this music brings back memories though. Damn IV was fun!

My biggest and only real gripe with XI was simply that after the cut-scene at the start it was basically "Here is the world, go do stuff..." without ever explaining that stuff.

I found the leve book eventually but never realised it had some kind of timer, I wasted all my leves killing worms and marmots.

Sorry, the only real reference to FXIV in Dissidia Duodecim are the player icons, but hey, If they make a 3rd Dissidia, I wouldn't be surprised to see a character from 14 as playable (I'm hoping Y'shtola or Gaius Van Baelsar)

That's where I'm hedging my bets as well.
Dissidia already has a Lalafell/Taru and a Elezen/Elvaan so it is only natural that a Mi'quote/Mithra would fill the gap and Y'shtola fits the bill. Unless of course they went with Merlwyb.
And Dissidia needs more villians - a Legatus would be perfect and could do all sorts of fun stuff with Gabranth in their helmets.

Personally I think if Baelsar and Gabranth showed in Dissidia together they would be fighting each other because I believe both their ego's will want the other one out of the picture.
