you'd be surprised the number of people living in first world countries that have never seen a live chicken in person before.
Just like how there are many people that have never seen an ocean or sea.

The one place only the devs can find them, foiled again!
That does explain where all those duck bones came from at least and gives me new leads! I need to find this Frandelont Raimdelle or the Raimdelle Codex they will surely have the answers I seek. The Ugly Duckling is from Never Reap, it's not a chicken but a duck though it lives at the edge of Eorzea so maybe little sized birds, in particular chickens, are not native from here.

It just seems weird to see no evidence of them in places where you would usually see evidence of them, Red Rooster Stead has "Sheep", Dodos and Chocobos but no sign of a chicken coop even though its named after a rooster though I guess that might also be a term for a male chocobo?

My grandmother, when she was alive, never saw the ocean. Quite frankly, she didn't even know where she lived on the map, or the state that I (her grandson) lived in. I remember the time she told me that the reason my laptop was so heavy was because of all the music I had on it...
