@Colorful I understand what you are trying to say but going for a cartoony afro was mistake they could have gone with more realistic afro. Its not like SE hasn't done it in the past Sazh afro was awesome. So yeah I'm disappointed because it just the worse afro they could have picked.

Agreed 5 minutes online search can find 10+ sharp looking, modern styles they could have chosen. They chose to use the most foolish looking design possible not to mention decades old. Terrible decision, wrong on every level, will not make excuses for what is imo a bad choice, the wrong choice.

Think a bit before you finalize these silly things se....please.

I saw the first post (and read the blog the OP linked) but nothing states they're not implementing the winning hair from the contest, nor does it say anywhere that they 'fucked up". Unless I'm blind

They're going to be implementing those too, just likely not finished yet.

I'd kill if they just worked on universalizing all of the hair styles for everyone. Plenty of unique hair styles, they're just.. Locked to guys or a few races.

I can at least say this women do not and not all men wore afros with mutton chops at all. this is easy to find info from any google search and pictures of my own family lmao.
Also afros are not always that huge or that god awful texture.
I didn't have hope at all for afro in game even though I liked Sazh Katzroy afro in ff13.
I understand that a lot can be lost in translation with little to no contact with black people.

There are plenty of amazing male hair styles females absolutely crave .-.
Especially the spiky male Au Ra ones! The only spiky hairdo girls have is the Lightning one, and that's kind of..ugh.

I want a chance to look like I use 3 cans of hairspray every morning, too! xD
