This fight is a nightmare for BLMs imo. For a healer this isn't hard.

Hardly.. aside from Alter Pyre, I can literally go the entire fight without a single heal. No BS. That boss is just too predictable.
The main thing I'm sure that gets healers is when he does the burning circles + the horses + chain and then blinds your screen with Alter Pyre. That combination right that was often the cause of the few wipes I've been in. The healer can't see where the circles/horses are, and is probably chained too, and gets killed. For the chained both has to "swing" to their respective safe spots.

This is a large part of the problem. But the other part of the problem is frequently when I run this dungeon I have some strange half second delay on my spells. (or maybe Ive always had that delay and I just notice it that much more in this dungeon)The main thing I'm sure that gets healers is when he does the burning circles + the horses + chain and then blinds your screen with Alter Pyre. The thing that gets me more often than not is being chained to someone who constantly feels it is necessary to stand far from the group, thereby causing me to have to run to the far end of the room just to break the chain. By the time the chain is broken, its done so much dmg to me and the rest of the group hasn't been kept topped off that I now have to spam heal to get back to a safe level of HP on everyone before the next aoe gets tossed out, while dodging all the ponies and flaming spots. I dont normally have issues keeping my party healed, maybe its just people's placement/play styles that is messing me up.

The reason it sucks for BLMs is that you have to move way too much, meaning we can't utilize Ley Lines and have to constantly interrupt our long cast-times resulting in low damage. BRD has the same problems but they at least can turn off Wanderer's Minuet and maintain decent damage. Thank god it doesn't go up to 60 or else we'd lose any semblance of Enochian upkeep too and would just be wastes of spots compared to other 60s.

Like every other fight in the game, once you're familiar with it you can avoid a lot of the movement. It's not hard to do solid dps in vault as blm.The reason it sucks for BLMs is that you have to move way too much, meaning we can't utilize Ley Lines and have to constantly interrupt our long cast-times resulting in low damage. As the person you replied to said, that fight is predictable.
When in doubt, assume sarcasm
