You know why this doesn't work? End of the fight, the bad dps still clears the fight. Who handles the crap that the DPS screwed up? That's right, the rest of the party who didn't do badly.Which is why it is critical for there to be solo DPS checks in a group setting. (Party members zone into another room have to beat up target dummy enemy essentially, if they fail they die and more enemies spawn where the rest of the party is). Party can still succeed even with durr DPS failure but the DPS failure will KNOW they failed and hopefully will consider improving. The game already tells tanks and healers they are bad when they fudge up (lost aggro, people dying) but has no real way to let the masses know if they blow chunks in the DPS role.
So who's being punished here? The rest of the party who played well? Why?
