Always great to hear from the team but this really doesn't address the problem here... it will actually make it worse since your adding a ton more common items for the retainers to bring back.

I'm beginning to question my retainers myself.. Yesterday two of them brought me a dungeon seedling. Pretty weird item to bring me twice.. In the same time frame of ventures. It happened again today but this time I recieved two copper rings.

I've gotten some good stuff before but most of the time I get a fish. Kinda stupid when my retainers are decently geared.

My funniest have to be.

Check first retainer, Oh hai, heres a roofing tile. check second retainer. Pfft! thats nothing! heres a complete roof!

another time first retainer looking all happy hands me over a fish, 2nd retainer throws a lure at me as if to say "catch your own fish!"

I wish their was a vendor in diddlyshire where we could trade one retainer only dye(metallic/pastel) for one of another colour. Bad enough I get a dye every 20-30th quick venture, but it's a pastel purple. Why can't I trade this for silver.

Any pastels my retainers give me goes on a Spring Dress. Lots of gil and Weaver EXP for that.

exactly, you need to stop giving out the crap items at a certain point. You should really only get those at a low retainer level. Fully leveled retainers should only be bringing back similarly leveled items, and Heavensward stuff.

Also, why does everything have to wait for 3.1? If it's ready now, put it in.

Patches cost money. And since it's multiplatform, it's best to just do it all in one scheduled go.

My level 28 archer brought me Garuda bow and a moogles dragoon weapon while the level 16 gladiator brought back 2 Ifrit weapons. Both have brought back various Vanya and Astral armors. But they tend to fetch crap 8/10 times

I just want more dye, or a reliable way of getting more dye. Specifically Pastel Pink dye. My battle retainers are on constant quick ventures for this. One day I think the same retainer brought back 4 ink quills.... :/
