What it's like leading Adders on Chaos

Seriously, at times people In Adders just do stupid things that's completely out of no logic, such as charging Maels/Flames with no benefit, splitting to do two things, etc.

How did Adders get into this state?

From what I hear from friends who PvP, Aether is no different. Adders just are horrible PvPers xD

I don't like to knock anyone that is willing to PvP in this game, but 3/4 games last night on aether, we were able to effectively bait the whole adders alliance into sandwich destruction multiple times #maelstrong

Yes, I understand how my leadership skills can be questioned with the use of sound macros, but I have also won games with them as well. But I have become a lot more lenient with the sound macros, only using 3 in the case of an S spawning that we should take. I don't see anyone else taking lead, so I just have free reign. Whatever to achieve victory, I will do it. And why the need to feel hostile and exaggerate my character? I in no way would defend 1 node if we're in dead last, hell, I even called out doing suicidal movements because of the do or die situation.

If you don't want me to use sound macros, get people to pay attention, and people do need to have something to bring their eyes to chat because of the risk of tunnel vision. And if you're really going to go far as to mute/hide the chat just because of sound macros would of cause not help anything.

Regardless of sounds or not, either people will listen or they won't. Once reset is upon us, the eso farmers come out to play. It's pretty much complete downhill till they GTFO, which is usually towards the end of the night.

Hitting a sound macro 7 times+ is a tad excessive, which is what I have personally witnessed and commented on (along with a lot of people). This was indeed weeks ago and since then I haven't heard really anything or even seen you on.

Adders do have very few leaders that is a fact but instead what we have is multiple idiots spamming chat with stupid crap, take for instance my last game. We are dead 3rd place, "DON'T ENGAGE" "DEFEND" screams one idiot

We get this a lot, adders are simply full of a lot of weak pvp players or players which don't wanna actually fight.

It's the reason Twins are called "Badders". Once you got aggro from them, they never leave you alone. No matters if you are winning or losing.

I am in Adders on Chaos. We even had a match where we finished with a score of zero, and people were trying. That's not to say we don't win sometimes; the results are wildly variable, but crushing losing streaks are more common than wins.

The problem is that a lot of people do not seem to understand how Seize works. They think it is just about dpsing and they independently chase any targets who happen to be nearby regardless of the scores or the risks.

I think it would be good if Square-Enix made a promo video for Seal Rock which acts both like a beginner's guide and also an advertisement to both subscribers and non-subscribers to get people to try this out. Lots of people who already play the game just never considered doing any pvp, and I've gotten a couple of people hooked on it by telling them it's fun and explaining how the rules and scoring works.

One does not simply lead adders in chaos.
I think the main problem would be language barrier and tunnel vision for most people especially during a fight with another GC, it is really hard to break a fight and usually just overextend just to kill that one astro
I have yet to see anyone claiming or just saying that they are "in it for the eso" at all and I sincerely think they are trying(maybe not their best)

we do have few key players who sometimes the masses listen to and we do get some results sometimes....every now and then...I guess?

Thats why i have done only 24man most likely because 72 is one of the hell of mess usually. 90% of wins are usually from 24man bracket. Some miracle need happen if we win in 72man. Ppl want only defend in the corner and wait miracle happen. Other worlds AFK in the node while doing nothing. Or just half players wanna fight against mael and half against flames then we are in 1v2 situation. I used to play some rated battlegrounds in wow back in days before ffxiv released and 95%+ of the time winner was the team that manage collect more kills and dominate fights. Even if 2 players either solo around or afk somewhere, it put your team in huge disadvantage if opponent have full 8 man team.
