From viewing datamined data we see that the halloween event will follow the example of Heavensward and draw heavily from Tactics Ogre. The minion is based on Pumpkinhead...


And the new witch outfit (which is currently being worn by an NPC in the Gold Saucer) is based on Deneb's outfit...

Look at how Moonfire Faire was handled. Even if it was less than a week before its start, info about it was posted on the 5th, and a few of last year's items made it to the cash shop on the 6th (or that's when the post was made at least); with the majority of the items landing there on September 8, one day after both the Faire and Rising actually concluded.

Actually, all of last year's items made it to the cash shop before the event. The old items still available during the event, and ending up in the cash shop after its conclusion, were the items from Moonfire Faires of 2013 and earlier.

But I agree that they could easily have released the 'new cash shop items' at the same time as they released the information about the upcoming All Saints' Wake event, the way they did with Moonfire Faire.

No, the upcoming set has thigh-high boots and elbow-length gloves. Most likely will be unisex with the obvious differences in the body piece, which is a modification of a coatee.

Yes, they probably will be unisex. Now, the question is... will they still be thigh-high boots and elbow-length gloves for both men and women, or will that be the case only for one gender? As with the event coatee, it's entirely possible they will just be one item with different appearances depending on the gender of the character equipping them. For comparison, see the Eerie Tights -- tights for the men, a skirt and thigh high stockings for the women.

I do hope they'll keep the appearance the same for the boots and the gloves no matter which gender your character is >.<

EDIT: Ok found her. She is an NPC, elezen I think, for the GATE "A Skin Change We Can Believe In". So she is not there 24/7, just during the GATE.
