At the TGS Live Letter (I believe) it was said in the first 10 days of November so that would be either Nov 3 or Nov 10 (because Tuesdays). Myself, I assume Nov. 10 but maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised.
I just want to see Hildebrand Manderville, inspector extraordinaire!
Only thing that needs done with Bard/Machinist is get rid of the damned cast times...entirely.

Agreed - I am fairly new to the game (started at the end of May) and leveled a BLM (fun, annoying though with all the movement in this game.) Then I leveled a warrior...fun, but I don't tank I just always have to have a warrior in any MMO. So then I leveled Bard and it was so much fun UNTIL 52...and then I realized it was basically just another BLM (w/o burst) with the option to do 30% less damage in exchange for movement - meh.

Wanderer's minuet and Gauss Barrel aren't going anywhere til next expansion (and most likely still won't go anywhere then). If you don't like it, change jobs.
I'm not sure how machinist's can complain about it honestly. I barely even notice them since procs skip the casts.
