Whats the point of Pony farms now?

I think it is finally fun. The fights aren't that hard, although some are pefectly wipe-able, and the odds aren't too bad for getting a drop although we spent 2 hours doing titan the other day to get 1 pony, stupid RNG. For someone as casual as me, wiping over and over when they came out only to have a very low chance of getting a reward seemed like a complete waste of time. I was really impressed when an FC member first got the Kirin mount and he's will always shine a little brighter than mine because he did it the hard way but for SE to now let me enjoy the content is highly appreciated.

It's old outdated content. Welcome to MMOs. "Rare" things all generally have a shelf-life, ponies are past theirs.

What's the point in everything in the game? What's the point of the game itself? What's the point of playing video games they are not real after all? What's the point of life?
There is no point if anything unless you want it to. Some ppl like those mounts and want them. I think they are really cool and got them all. You do things for fun.

I think at least some folks have an idea of what you're talking about, but it is what it is when it comes to MMORPGs. Shelf life always exists and it pertains to every single thing in the game. Unless they were to completely remove something already rare from the game, or they moved it into content that makes it almost impossible to find someone with it (maybe an achievement to defeat a given primal 1,000,000 times), it'll suffer from the inevitable shelf life. Like if being able to obtain the Alex mount were completely removed from the game come 3.1, never to return, that would be certainly forever rare. Given that those primal mounts have not been considered actually rare to see since before Heavensward, it's kinda too late for those ones.

Meh some drops are still like 10 or so runs, and Nightmare since drop rate for that one was never increased is still considered rare. Only one i really wanted and never seen it drop once and have done Primals so many times

And the only way to get Kirin is to get all the ponies.

Ok so i understand there is a point for ppl who want them but really. They drop so easy now and since ppl can go in as 60s the bosses are a joke now was't the point to make em rare? since that's dead now :P i see them all over now and it sort of killed the fun of ooooo look at that. Now i'm not one of those ppl that's like waaaaaa i need to be the only one with that cool thing. Just like to have some rare stuff is all how do others feel?
