"Escape reality, live the fantasy." what a terrible thing to say...

If my kids watching this commercial, I'll have a lot of things to teach them before letting them play any video game.

While most of us probably enjoy the escapism that is to be found in games, just like it is in books and movies, it doesn't work well as a slogan. Live the fantasy, perhaps, but escape reality really puts an emphasis on the stigma that videogames still suffer from. There is so much in the core of this game they could have used instead in that slogan. :/

That is, by far, the worst commercial I have ever seen.

Could have had a better narrator. She sounded bored out of her mind. Though it is at least better than the first cringe-worthy commercial they showed off for A Realm Reborn, they actually showed off the game here.

Please. It's not that bad. It's intensely corny, as is any injection of real-world people into a video game environment.

The commercial would have been better if the models were all in costume from the start, like they do in JP commercials. But that doesn't resonate with the west or something. You gotta have impeccably attractive models pretend to play your video games in order to move product.
