I've bolded the important part for emphasis. What part of that, tho, do you not understand?

The way I read this is that apparently the healer was making sure that the tank was doing "pull everything" pulls when neither the tank nor the healer had the team didn't have the gear and/or skill to be doing them, and then mocking the tank when he/she died because of it.

That said, I wasn't there, so I don't know exactly what happened, but even if the tank didn't die, mocking him/her for not being comfortable with full pulls is wrong.

Dancer is a physical hybrid melee/range class, not a true ranged class. I love it.

I have to applaud the originator. Pace is set by the whole party, not just one or two members. It relies on the tank holding the mobs reliably, the healer keeping the party and particularly the tank alive and the DDs killing the mobs before they kill anyone. If any of these elements isn't up to the challenge then the pace needs to be adjusted so they can. This notion that only the healer or tank sets the pace needs be put to rest.

I, as tank, always ask healers whether they want me to mass pull or not. Sadly 90% of the time they don't answer. But a healer/dd should never force a tank to pull more.

If you're bored and you want to contribute to the group by asking your tank to do big pulls, on your end you should contribute to the group by DPSing. Even small pulls would melt way faster if you help them. That way I'm saving you from boredom, if you see the tank is taking little to no damage.

When i tank i pull only the first mob and guage the groups performance and then the rest of my pulls are based on that. If ANYONE tried to force pull more mobs i ask them to stop. You do it again vote kick for harassment.

If you did this to me in a dungeon I'd let you die.
If 3/4 players want a full clear and the tank isn't needed to kill the extra, the healer and dps have the right to use their dungeon time too. I do agree that a learning tank shouldn't suffer it.

Mentioned this a while back, but it's attitudes like this that end up resulting in a lack of good tanks and a surplus of bad attitudes. When I first started tanking and healing, I was not very confident. But my FC understood that (mostly) and let me practice. Now I'm confident. But I've seen over-eager DPS and healers kill people's confidence by making them feel as if they aren't doing their job, when they're low leveled with a limited arsenal.

I've also had healers ask me to pull more when I knew I couldn't handle it because I was so low leveled. But I did. And you know what happened? I died. They couldn't heal through it because they were synced down to my level.

Funny thing is, the LNC story line quest is literally referencing this sort of attitude.

Then they can go back and do it after the fact. But holding any member of the group hostage because you want to kill every single mob in the dungeons is harassment. It's far more efficient to just clear the run and move on to the next from an exp point of view. The time you spend clearing the extra mobs that are out of the way is time you could be out of the dungeon and back in queue.

Well, I'm back here to thank most of you as well !

I never had a tank role in any game, so it's truly my first time playing as it.

Pulling more monsters at me didn't help with the aggro. But still I did what I could! Used my combo, used Overpower, used Flash, but then I ran out of TP (wait, I'll learn to control it better!). What the healer did when I was at almost 0 TP and we were finishing to kill the last monster from the mob? Brought another group, no time to recover.

I main a healer. I know what is it to get to a low lvl dungeon and find newbie tank and dps around. But hey, isn't that supposedly to happen when you're in a low lvl dungeon? :/
I find it a group thing. Teach. Learn. Observe and be patient.

I got a little bit upset because while those things happens I don't see it too frequently but I'm so happy with your responses guys, for real, can't express my gratitude!
