They literally said the opposite.It's funny how this is a surprise to so many people even though the developers have said that Savage Alexander was being balanced with healers DDing in mind. This is stated as one of the big surprises they took from Final Coil, how healers weren't only healing. Little wonder Savage Alexander would take that into consideration.
I'm gonna say no. I pretty sure that it's gonna be faceroll content and I don't think that sort of content should be the most rewarding. (and I mean rewarding strictly in the sense of the game giving achievements, gear and such rather than, say, the warm fuzzies you get from helping a friend clear challenging content for the firs time) The idea just strikes me as very backwards.
The bottom line said that they designed content without healer DPS in mind. This means they tune fights to require a certain ilvl before your dps could meet the checks without factoring in healer DPS.
The result though, is that you still end up needing healer dps to meet said checks even when you're in i200-210 pieces because it's that tight.

The 3.1 version, like others have said, will probably be easy - that's because its current role in progression is "catch up" content.
I would rather Exploratory islands be the leading hard content we get every 6 months than 4 over tuned bosses. For that, a lot of changes would need to happen.

The 3.1 "catch up" content is Void Ark. As far as i am aware, Island exploration is meant to be harder than Void Ark.
Also, why have you avoided engaging with anything i said in my post?
did they say the islands were randomly generated somewhere? I don't remember seeing that, but would be curious to hear if that was so. I was under the impression they were not.

Would need to find the article, because I don't recall them ever mentioning how they'd tune alexander savage (only the fact that previous encounters without healer dps in mind). Not to mention that current healer gear has no accuracy on it, as if to discourage healer DPS.
