Stop trying to compare it to WoW raids, they took a different approach. ARR raid was fine, Alexander itself is the problem.

It is not just wow's raids though. Many other MMORPG's have lively and good raids and that feeling of accomplishment when completed is justified.

I completed alex and felt nothing.

I hope SE starts to make their raids bigger with more trash mobs and bosses. Even alex savage seems lackluster and I am not even at the start of that yet.

If coil was on the same line as ICC, Ulduar, Naxxramas, BC raids, Mists, or Cata then I will agree. If not then that is a problem.

My issue is the SIZE and how many bosses and trash mobs there is.

This is not WoW and it isn't any of those other games. FF14 has it's own variation of endgame raiding, with the main focus being the boss fight of each instance, and this is not a bad thing if done right. Coil was very well designed overall and made good use of that. Alexander has a lot of bad decisions and does not.

Again, don't blame the raid system when Alexander is the problem. I take that's your alt. No idea if you completed the Binding Coil of Bahamut Trilogy before the nerfs. SCOB was a masterpiece, imo. It didn't rely on DPS checks but mechanic checks, it was fun to do.

My issue is the SIZE and how many bosses and trash mobs there is. This is my main and I never did the Coil raid but my wife did. I never saw it, however, again if it was on par size wise as well as trash mobs and bosses then I will agree with you. I am not talking about mechanics and DPS checks.
